Campaigners NI - Newmills Girl Inters and Craftsmen...
With good weather and loads to do, another great day was had by all at the Raft Race in Portglenone. For those that couldn't attend, check out our gallery below to see what you missed. A big thanks to all who attended and helped in any way to organise another successful and fun packed day. Also thanks to Allen Shannon for a great selection of quality photos.
This year the annual quiz was held on Friday 11th March in Portadown Baptist Church. As always this year’s Bible Quiz was well supported with a total of 21 teams entered from eight different churches. Junos teams were entered by Ballymena Elim, Kells Presbyterian, Limavady Baptist, Newtownbreda Baptist, Portadown Baptist and Trinity Reformed Presbyterian. Thirteen Inters and Craftsmen teams were entered by Ballymena Elim, Castlereagh Baptist, Limavady Baptist, Loughgall Presbyterian and Portadown Baptist. During a tense and exciting evening the teams displayed great enthusiasm and showed great Bible knowledge. It was a close run competition and we congratulate ALL of the teams for doing so well. A BIG thank you goes to Portadown Baptist church for use of their hall and also for providing supper. Thanks also to Timothy Kerr who gave the Clan ’C’ message based on the story of the prodigal son told in a very unusual manner!! A great night was had by all! The Bible Quiz continues to be an ever popular event in the Campaigner calendar and we would encourage all Clans to consider entering next year. Clansmen love it, the questions are based on the Bible stories they learn each week at Clan ‘C’ and there is no great pressure as it's a team competition. Give it a go!!
